Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University School of Engineering and Technology is Recruiting a Junior Research Assistant
The School of Engineering and Technology at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) for a project titled, “Analysis of Solid Waste Management System and Impact of Non-Engineered Landfill Leachate on Ground Water Quality of Jammu, India”.
The project is sponsored by the J&K Science Technology and Innovation Council (JKSTIC), Department of Science and Technology, Government of J&K, India.
Qualifications
- B.E. /B. Tech. in Civil Engineering or a relevant degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60%.
- M.E. / M. Tech in a relevant branch of Civil Engineering (preferably with a major project related to Environmental Engineering, Solid Waste Management, Water and Wastewater) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60%.

B.E/B. Tech (4-year) in Civil Engineering with a valid GATE/NET score above the prescribed cut-off level or NET Qualification. The candidate shall have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 or not less than 75%.

A Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering is desirable.
