Income Tax Recruitment 2024: The Principal Commissioner of Central Tax, Hyderabad has released a notification for recruitment to the post of Tax Assistant, Steno and Havaldar. Candidates can apply offline on or before 19 August 2024. The applications may be sent either by post or in person.

- Tax Assistant – Degrees from a recognized University or equivalent. Should have basic knowledge in the use of computer applications. Should possess a data entry speed of not less than 8000 key
- depressions per hour. The speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work is to be judged by conducting a speed test on the Electronic data processing machine
- Stenographer Gr-II – 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Skill Test Norms: Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 80 words per minute, Transcription: 50 Minutes and English:(65 minutes), Hindi: (on computer)

Selection Process for Income Tax Recruitment 2024
The shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test. The written examination for the post of Tax Assistant/Stenographer/Havaldar will be in English/Hindi and will consist of objective type multiple choice questions in General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. Written tests are purely qualifying in nature. The candidates applying for Tax Assistants posts will be required to take a data entry test for 15 minutes.
