NHM Recruitment 2024 Apply for Services of Specialists and Medical Officers Posts
The National Health Mission (NHM), J&K has announced job openings for various posts including Gynaecologist, Paediatrician, Pathologist and Medical Officer (MERS).
Details of the job openings are as follows:
Post: Gynaecologist
Location: CHC Karapa
Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in relevant stream recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)
Experience: 2 years experience working as a specialist in a hospital
Remuneration: Rs. 85000/- per month with significant incentives for the female candidates as per the criteria laid down
Selection Criteria: If the number of applicants are more than 1:10 in ratio, the selection criteria will be based on Interview (100 Marks)
Post: Paediatrician
Location: District Hospital Gardhambul, DEIC and IM Hospital, Srinagar
Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in Paediatrics recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)
Experience: Experience of working as a specialist in a hospital (for IM Hospital, Srinagar)

Age Limit: Upto 65 years
Remuneration: Rs. 85000/- per month with significant incentives for the female candidates as per the criteria laid down (for CHC Karapa) and Rs.35,000/- per month with special performance based incentive of Rs. 15,000/per month (for IM Hospital, Srinagar)
Selection Criteria: If the number of applicants are more than 1:10 in ratio, the selection criteria will be based on Interview (100 Marks) (for CHC Karapa) and otherwise selection will be done on the basis of interview only (for IM Hospital, Srinagar)
Post: Pathologist
Location: Govt. LD Hospital Srinagar
Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in Pathology recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)
Remuneration: Rs.35,000/- per month with special performance based incentive of Rs. 15,000/per month
Selection Criteria: If the number of applicants are more than 1:10 in ratio, the selection criteria will be based on Academic (MBBS) – 80 Marks, Interview – 20 Marks
Post: Medical Officer (MERS) (Full Time)
Location: At the level of UPIC District Srinagar
Qualification: MBBS degree recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)
Age Limit: Upto 65 years
Remuneration: Rs. 20000/- per month as basic salary and Rs. 7500/- per month as special board incentives
Selection Criteria: If the number of applicants are more than 1:10 ratio, the selection criteria will be based on Academic (MBBS) – 80 Marks, Interview – 20 Marks. Otherwise selection will be done on the basis of interview only
Post: Medical Officer (MERS) (Part Time)
Location: At the level of UPIC District Srinagar
Qualification: MBBS degree recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)
Age Limit: Upto 65 years
Remuneration: Rs. 20000/- per month as basic salary and Rs. 7500/- per month as special board incentives
Selection Criteria: Selection will be done on the basis of interview only
