SKUAST Kashmir Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria and Application Details

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural and Technological Sciences (SKUAST-K) is seeking a qualified Project Assistant to work on a research project titled “Disease spectrum in fishes of Wular lake: An integrated approach for profiling of fish pathogenic strains.” This project is funded by the Wular Conservation and Management Authority (WUCMA) Kashmir.

Position Details:

• Position: Project Assistant
• Number of Positions: One (01)
• Tenure: 6 months, extendable based on performance
• Emoluments: Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Essential: Graduate in Science with PCB
• Desirable: B.F.Sc. and M.F.Sc. (Aquatic Animal Health Management)
• Preference: Candidates with research experience in fish disease management

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the research project, focusing on the study of fish diseases in Wular lake
• Collect and analyze data related to fish health and disease
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports and publications

Terms and Conditions:

• The position is on a contractual basis initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment in the university.
