SKUAST Kashmir Recruitment for Project Positions
The University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) is inviting applications for two project research scientist positions and one project technical support position. The positions are part of an ICMR-funded project titled, “A Comprehensive Epidemiological Survey of Avian Influenza Virus in the Migratory Pathways of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Qualifications
- Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) (2 Positions)
- Essential: First class master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Virology from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Experience in molecular and cellular virology. Excellent knowledge of computational biology and good writing skills. Previous experience working in a Biosafety level-Il or above-certified laboratory.
- Max Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxable to OBC and SC/ST Candidate as per ICMR norms)
- Project Technical Support-III (1 position)
- Essential: Post-graduate degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Virology from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Experience in molecular virology techniques. Previous experience working in a Biosafety level-Il or above-certified laboratory.
- Max Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxable to OBC and SC/ST Candidate as per ICMR norms)
